Terms & Commercial Policies
This schedule governs transaction processing, instantaneous digital fulfillment, vacancy management, and dispute procedures on Abakhaki, operating in compliance with Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA No. 25 of 2002) & Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
Delivery & Fulfillment Policy (Digital Services)
All purchases made via Abakhaki are strictly classified as intangible digital recruitment services, candidate sourcing tools, and electronic visibility software. No physical goods or commodities are dispatched.
- •Instant Digital Delivery: All job postings, employer subscription tiers, featured listing upgrades, and candidate contact accesses purchased on this platform are delivered electronically immediately upon payment authorization.
- •Payment Processing & Fulfillment: Transactions on Abakhaki are processed securely via PayFast by Network with direct fulfillment by Abakhaki (Pty) Ltd in compliance with South African Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA) Section 43.
- •Fulfillment Window: Upon successful payment verification via PayFast, your listing is indexed and displayed to candidates within minutes of transaction confirmation.
- •Electronic Tax Invoices: An automated electronic tax invoice and transaction receipt citing your order reference is delivered immediately to the employer's registered account email upon checkout completion.
- •Provisioning Support: If your listing fails to appear live within 1 hour of payment confirmation due to technical error, contact our desk immediately at support@abakhaki.com citing your transaction identifier for priority queue resolution.
Cancellation Policy
Employers retain autonomous administrative control over their published vacancies and recurring subscription tiers directly through the Employer Dashboard:
- •Autonomous Unpublishing & Pausing: Employers may unpublish, pause, or close any active vacancy at any point during its visibility window directly from their Employer Dashboard.
- •Immediate Effect: Unpublishing or closing a vacancy listing immediately withdraws it from public search results, directory indexes, and candidate applications.
- •Pre-paid Fixed Visibility Terms: Single vacancy purchases and promotional durations (e.g., standard 30-day listing windows) represent one-off purchases for a designated term. Because server provisioning, indexing, and candidate distribution commence immediately upon checkout, voluntarily closing a post prior to the conclusion of the term does not entitle the buyer to a prorated cash refund.
Refund & Return Policy
Because our digital services provide immediate advertising reach, candidate tracking, and indexing upon authorization, refunds are strictly administered under the following criteria:
- Duplicate Charges: In the event that a technical error results in duplicate billings for a single job post or subscription.
- Technical Non-Delivery: If the platform fails to publish or render the purchased listing and our support team cannot resolve the failure within 48 hours of notification.
- Once a job posting has been successfully published, indexed, and displayed to job seekers, or after candidate applications have commenced, digital performance has commenced and payment is non-refundable.
- Job listings rejected or removed due to violations of our Content Guidelines (e.g., fraudulent schemes, discriminatory requirements, or illegal offers).
Refund Procedure & Processing
• How to Log a Dispute: To log a refund or billing dispute, contact billing@abakhaki.com within 14 days of the transaction date, citing your payment reference, user account email, and reason for the dispute.
• Processing Timeline: Approved refunds are credited back within 7–14 business days. Legitimate refunds are approved by Abakhaki and credited back directly to the original card or bank account via PayFast.
